Our February 7th Rally will be a power-packed double-header of your Hot Button issues:
Immigration Reform & Election Reform
Our first guest speaker will be Jonathan Hanen, from the Washington D.C. office of the Federation for American Immigration Reform. He will discuss immigration reform issues nationally and especially in Florida, the current status of Congressional legislation on illegal immigration, and grassroots strategy for co-operation between federal immigration authorities and local law enforcement.
Hanen develops grassroots activist support and educates the media and the public on immigration issues. This will be your chance to ask how you can help support President Trump’s agenda to achieve immigration reform.
The second portion of our double-header program will feature Lake County’s Supervisor of Elections, D. Alan Hays; Sumter County’s Supervisor of Elections, Bill Keen; and Marion County’s Supervisor of Elections, Wesley Wilcox.
The Sumter, Lake and Marion County Supervisors of Elections will review mid-term elections and share their plans for election reform to result in an honest electoral process, reporting to us on their efforts to insure that only registered and legal voters will have their preferences counted. A panel discussion with a Q. and A. period moderated by our own club expert on immigration, Mike Goss, will follow when you may ask your questions of and express your concerns to all four speakers.
