“Insider’s Perspective Of The Military Today”

Brigadier General Timothy I. Sullivan assumed the duties as Deputy Commander of Joint Forces Headquarters of Saint Augustine, Florida on 7 July 2005. Since this time, General Sullivan has also served as the Commander of the 83d Troop Command in Tallahassee. He holds a Masters of Strategic Studies from the US Army War College and a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the Citadel.  He has received many commendations and medals including the Bronze Star and the Humanitarian Service Award.

Over the years has held numerous positions at all levels including four years on active duty as a Pershing Missile officer in Germany. Since 1985, General Sullivan has been a member of the Florida Army National Guard. General Sullivan has held numerous elected and civic positions to include Chairman of the Lake County School Board, and as Mayor and City Commissioner of Fruitland Park, Florida; and is President of Sullivan & Associates of Central Florida.
