To the Editor:
Lee Green of Osceola Hills, Facebook coordinator for Villagers For Trump, tried five times to post an ad for events on Facebook and was refused five times. She contacted Congressman Daniel Webster’s office and aide Stephen Shylkofski forwarded her complaint to a liaison at Facebook. Facebook reversed course and the next day Lee was finally allowed to post. Recent Congressional pressure on this Goliath and prompt follow-up by Webster’s office showed our tax dollars at work in upholding our free speech rights. This assistance from Dan Webster’s office on behalf of our organization is greatly appreciated.
Villagers For Trump

Thank you, Stephen! Facebook reversed course.
Thank you for responding immediately to my complaint about Facebook refusing to let Villagers for Trump run “political ads” to boost our events. The liaison to Facebook to whom you forwarded my complaint got fast results for us. Facebook reversed course and tonight finally allowed us to boost our events. Villagers for Trump deeply appreciates your help in upholding our free speech rights.
