You Can’t Always Get What You Want

2018 October 11

Donald Trump learned this a long time ago while growing up on the streets of New York.  Trump’s success is rooted in these early formative years while learning about success and failure.  He learned that no matter how hard you try, you can’t always get what you want.  Over the years, Trump skillfully used that lesson to become a successful negotiator and master deal maker.  The knowledge that you can’t always get what you want, but that you still can achieve your wildest dreams, drives Donald to always be better at everything.  And as with all great leaders, they never forget the road they traveled.  This is why he always plays the popular Rolling Stones’ 1969 hit, “You can’t always get what you want,” following each rally and public event.  It is ironic that while the Rolling Stones repeatedly demand that Trump stop using their song, Trump just replies, “You can’t always get what you want.”
